About the Party, its Organisation, the Office Bearers, its Representation in the National Assembly and its District Representatives. |
The Party
The SNP contested the Presidential election in May 2011 but has refused to accept the results because of widespread deficiencies in the political and electoral conditions. It has joined together with other opposition forces in a campaign to redress the imbalances which prevent fair and equitable participation in the political process. It boycotted the National Assembly elections in October 2011 but remains fully engaged in national political affairs and fulfills its role as the main opposition party in Seychelles. |

The Seychelles National Party (SNP) is a party on the move. It has led the way with the right ideas for Seychelles, championing democracy, proper governance and economic reforms. These ideas have been accepted and many of them are the cornerstones of Government programmes today.
